The effects of water-CuO nanofluid flow on heat transfer inside a heated 2D channel

چکیده

The velocity distribution and heat transfer improvement in a two-dimensional channel filled with water-CuO nanofluid is numerically studied. flow assumed laminar one-phase Newtonian behaviour. Pure water considered as the base fluid, four different volume fractions of CuO nanoparticles are examined. A constant source–sink to cover entire length bottom wall while upper thermally insulated. control technique used discretize governing differential equations, SIMPLE algorithm solve velocity-pressure coupling. CFD simulation applied on utilizing ANSYS FLUENT equations flow. effects nanoparticle fraction transfer, profile, shear stress, skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number along have also been results confirm that plays an important role enhancement hydrodynamic behaviour presented figures tables.
